Tourmaline for my first purchase because it is nearly impossible and impractical to imitate.

Tourmaline is a class 2 Gem, but Rubellite Tourmaline is a class 3 gemstone, which means that inclusions are expected. After all my tests, I concluded that I had a rare large natural Rubellite Tourmaline.

The color of this one, and depending on the type of light, changes from dark reddish purple to cranberry with vivid orange highlights. I have a strong appreciation for color changing stones and this one is now ready to join my collection. I will certainly become a repeat customer.
